YOUTH/TEEN ACTIVITIES






                                                                     HIGH SCHOOL DANCE TEAM TRAINING
                                                                Dancers will work solely on jazz and kick technique and
                                                                skills  needed  to  be  successful  in  a  high  school  dance
                                                                team  program.  There  will  also  be  a  focus  on  strength
                                                                and  flexibility.  Time  will  be  spent  on  the  fundamentals
                                                                needed in addition to teaching advanced skills to those
                                                                that are ready.   Masks are required.

           A variety of activities related to movement and exercise   Fee:  $50
           with an emphasis placed on teamwork and participation.      High School Gym—West
           Girls  and  boys  will  be  placed  on  two  teams.    Team   Coach Stephanie Kutter
           placement will change from time to time so that students
           learn  how  to  work  with  different  individuals  in  different
           activities and environments.  The rules and expectations
           of an activity will be introduced before participation be-
           gins.  Activities will change from day to day.  Activities
           may include indoor soccer, team handball, softball, kick-
           ball,  sideline  basketball,  battle  ball,  dodge  ball,  trench
           ball, lightning and frisbee football.

               STUDENT DRIVER'S EDUCATION TRAINING

               This is Zoom classroom only.  Behind the Wheel is on your own with a company of your choice at an addi-
               tional fee.  All students under the age of 18 are required to do both 30 hours of classroom study, as well as
               6 hours of behind the wheel before they are eligible to get a driver's license. Students will first need to take
               30 hours of classroom instruction AND be registered for behind the wheel before taking the MN Knowledge
               Test. Once passing, students will obtain an instruction permit. During the time that students have their per-
               mit, they will be required to practice driving 50 hours with a parent or guardian, as well as do 6 hours of be-
               hind the wheel instruction with a licensed instructor. Once driving hours are completed, students have held
               a permit for a minimum of 6 months, and are at least 16 years of age, they are eligible to take the MN Road
               Test and obtain a driver's license.
