CreekSide Compost Facility is open year around to accept organic material.
Please check in with the site monitor, located at the drive up window and they will direct you to the proper drop off site.

Residents of Hutchinson have the option of using a 90-gallon cart for placement The following materials are allowed to be
of organic materials. By using the organic cart, many homeowners have seen a deposited in areas designated by these signs:
reduction in the amount of waste going into their regular refuse cart.  Leaf compost area: Leaves, grass clip-
pings, and other garden debris.
X  Brush: Tree limbs and other clean wood
No plastic bags Only compostable bags
(no metal, nails etc.) five inches or less in

 diameter
Logs: Clean wood material greater than 5”
diameter
 Concrete and Asphalt - No rebar
Items more beneficial in blue bin.

CLEAN CARDBOARD NEWSPAPER AND MAGAZINES
Special compostable bags are available for only residents who participate in the program. Enough bags are supplied enabling the use of an average
of two bags per week. Please call 234-5665 if you have any questions regarding organic collection.
