LIFEGUARD TRAINING COURSE HIGH TIDES DEVELOPMENTAL PROGRAM
The American Red Cross Lifeguard Training course is a Monday/Wednesday/Friday
top notch training class for those desiring to be lifeguards.
Participants must be 15 years old before completion of Session 1: January 4, 6, 8, 11, 13, 15, 18, 20, 22 & 25
this course.
Participants must have completed the following swimming Session 2: February 1, 3, 5, 8, 10, 12, 17, 19, 22 & 24
pre-requisites:
1) 500 yard continuous swim including 100 yard each of Session 3: April 6, 8, 11, 13, 15, 18, 20, 22, 25 & 27

SILVER:
Swimmers should demonstrate mastery of the skills from
Bronze program to enter this Silver program. This in-
cludes development of proper stroke technique, starts
and turns. Swimmers will continue to improve their
stroke skills in freestyle, backstroke and breaststroke
with the goal of competitive swimming. Butterfly stroke
will be introduced. Some endurance and set swimming
will be done in this program, but the focus will still be on
teaching skills and techniques necessary to have a suc-
cessful competitive swim.
