ADULT SOFTBALL

You would never know it by looking out across the frozen pond and the waist high snow drifts but we aren’t that far away
from beginning the process of preparing for another summer of slow pitch softball. We begin with an organizational
meeting on March 27th that will determine how the leagues are set up for the summer. We will register teams until late
April. The Tier I men’s teams can be sanctioned with the Minnesota Sports Federation and the United States Slow Pitch
Softball Association and will be eligible for state tournament participation if they wish. The men’s leagues will begin play
in early May while the Co-Rec leagues will begin in mid-May.
How do you register? You can register online at www.ci.hutchinson.mn.us, stop by our office, or call the PRCE at 587-
2975. Pick out one of the leagues listed below and pay the team entry fee by the stated deadline. All leagues have as-
signed umpires.
Tier I – Average to Above Average Tier II – Below Average

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED BY MONDAY, APRIL 24TH TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY DIVISION OF PLAY.
ANY ENTRIES RECEIVED AFTER THAT DATE, IF ACCEPTED, WILL REQUIRE AN ADDITIONAL $25 LATE FEE!

If you enjoy watching softball,
why not get paid to do it? We
have leagues that call for certified
umpires and pay $25 per game.
The certification process involves
a one-night clinic but experience
playing and understanding the
game is all that is really necessary. It’s a great way to be
a part of the game and make some extra money. Contact
