BIG CHANGES IN SKI CLUB FOR 2018!
Powder Ridge has made some great changes to our
six-time program for 2018. These include:
 The season will begin December 14th instead of
in January so we have a better chance for good
skiing weather.
 Seasonal Equipment Rentals– Rent equipment
through the six-time program and any time you
ski at Powder Ridge your equipment is free for
the entire season!
 A seventh date has been added when ski club
members can go up and ski for free on their regu-
lar ski club night.
Friends and family discount– Friends and family are
welcome to join the 6X participants on any of the trip
nights at a reduced cost! The costs are:
Lift tickets- 13 & Older $29
12 & Under $22
5 & Under Free
Equipment Rental– 6 & Older $23
Helmet Rental- $8
5 & Under $16
United Way of McLeod County is a proud sponsor of
PRCE recreational programming. This organization
provides funding for families with special needs and
teen programming such as ski club.

This is a great chance to get out on the slopes and
learn to ski or enjoy the sport at a great price!
DATES: Thursdays, December 14, 21 January 4, 11,
18, 25 (we’ll keep going on Thursdays until we get six
times in).
TIMES: Depart from the Rec Center at 4:30 pm and
return by 10:00 pm.

Helmet rental available for $21 for the six weeks
Chaperones are needed for this program. Adults (21
or older) that are willing to supervise the program receive
free skiing. We ask that each parent consider helping on
one Thursday, whether or not you ski. Contact John
McRaith at 234-5636.
Head Chaperone– We are looking for someone to
head up our ski club and be the lead chaperone. This
person needs to be available each Thursday for the six
weeks. This chaperone will be rewarded with a season
family pass to Powder Ridge!
Cancellation announcements are made through the
schools, which are decided by 1:00 pm each Thurs-
day we ski. You can also call the GAMELINE at 234-
GAME for cancellations. General guideline is that we
don’t ski if wind chill is greater than ten below.
Bring a sack lunch or money to purchase food.
