The Aquatic Center is closed for the season 

Dress Code Policy

1. Lined bathing suits are required in all parts of the pool.  Suits with rivets, buckles, exposed zippers, exposed metal or metal ornamentations, cut-off jeans, shoes, or overly revealing suits (including thong-style swimsuits) are not allowed in the pool.  Hutchinson Family Aquatic Center is a family facility and attire must meet reasonable modesty standards.

2. Swimsuits and other attire with logos/words representing tobacco, alcohol, profanity as well as inappropriate designs and/or slogans are prohibited.

3. Swimsuits with built-in flotation for younger children are not allowed unless they are Coast Guard approved.

4. Additional attire may be worn for sun protection, along with a lined bathing suit.  Bulky attire will not be allowed in the deep end of the pool.  Please be advised that chemicals used for pool water sanitation and balancing purposes can and will fade all fabrics.

5. Regular diapers are not allowed.  Please use swim diapers.  Swim diapers are available for sale at the Admissions window.

6. Life jackets must be Coast Guard approved for use in the pool.  Staff may check your equipment during your visit for the proper stamp.  Life jackets will not be allowed on body slides.

7. Suits may not be removed for sunbathing.

1. All patrons must be able to swim or be supervised by an adult.
2. Lifeguard must be present before patrons may enter the pool.
3. Take a shower before entering the pool.
4. Children 3 years of age and younger must wear swim diapers.
5. Change diapers at diaper changing stations and dispose of them properly.
6. Warn your children not to drink the water.
7. No inflatable devices are allowed.
8. All adults and children that are swimming must wear appropriate swim attire. Street clothes are not permitted to be worn in the pool.
9. Food is allowed in the concessions area only.
10. No diving except off diving boards.
11. No running.
12. Coolers, glassware, alcohol and tobacco are not allowed.
13. No domestic animals are allowed in the facility.

1. For use by children 8 years of age and younger only.
2. An adult must supervise all children.
3. Children 3 years of age and younger must wear swim diapers.
4. Change diapers at diaper changing stations and dispose of them properly.
5. Anyone who has had diarrhea should not use the pool for two weeks after symptoms have subsided.
6. Warn your children not to drink the water.
7. No inflatable devices are allowed.
8. No food is allowed in the pool area.
9. Coolers, glassware, alcohol and tobacco are not allowed.

1. One person per flotation device or noodle.
2. No climbing, standing or sitting on river walls.
3. No jumping into river from pool side.
4. Access at river entrance only.
5. No diving or underwater swimming in the river.
6. Floaters must follow direction of current at all times.
7. No rough play (pushing, rocking, hitting).

1. Minimum of 48″
2. Maximum of 300 lbs.
3. Only 1 rider at a time on WHITE and YELLOW slides
4. NO life jackets or goggles
5. Tube slide combined weight MUST be less
   than 300 lbs
6. Kids may ride with an adult (age 16+)
   

1. Coolers, glass containers, alcohol and tobacco are not allowed into the facility.
2. The HFAC does not allow outside food and beverages into the facility.
3. On-site concessions are available, but must be consumed in designated areas of the facility.

Pool will be open if it is raining, unless it is raining so hard that visibility of the water is poor and the rain pattern on the water hinders the lifeguard’s vision.

The pool will be cleared at the first sight of lightening and will remain closed until 30 minutes after the last lightening strike.

Warning: Pool is closed–when a tornado siren is sounded, all patrons will be cleared from the pool and will proceed quickly to the locker rooms at the pool away from windows.

Watch: Pool has the potential to be closed (based off manager’s discretion or Aquatic Coordinator’s discretion)

The pool will be closed, the feces removed, and chlorine added to the pool. The pool will remain closed until pool water is deemed safe for the public to use. If the stool is in solid form the feces will be removed, the area will be super-chlorinated, and we will wait 30 minutes to reopen the pool. If the stool is a cloudy diarrhea that cannot be strained out with a net, the pool shall be closed until further notice.

The quality of the pool water is monitored frequently throughout the day. If at anytime the water quality is not at a safe standard, the pool will be closed until the desired quality is achieved.
